Marcus Theatres(R) to Break Ground on New Green Bay, Wis. Theatre; 12-Screen Theatre Will Open in Late Fall 2006

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 22, 2006--Marcus Theatres Corporation, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE:MCS) today announced it will break ground for its new 12-screen theatre in Green Bay, Wis. on Thursday, May 25. The theatre will be located in the I-43 Business Center, on the east side of Green Bay. The new theatre is scheduled to open in fall 2006.

The all-stadium seating, all-digital sound Green Bay Cinema will include big curved screens, comfortable high-back seats in every auditorium, online print-at-home ticketing, lobby entertainment on flat-screen monitors and self-service soft drinks. This theatre will be an elegant art deco showplace featuring classic finishes such as warm woods, rich stone floors and granite counters. Olson noted that Marcus Theatres(R) also has a new 13-screen theatre under construction in Sturtevant (Racine), Wis., and plans to break ground on a new flagship theatre in Brookfield, Wis. in summer 2006. The new theatres replace older existing facilities to offer moviegoers the latest technology and amenities.
