Will be official hotel and catering partner for Milwaukee's largest free event

MILWAUKEE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jul. 23, 2012-- Marcus® Hotels & Resorts, a division of The Marcus Corporation (NYSE: MCS), today announced it is once again proud to be the premier sponsor of the Milwaukee Air & Water Show taking place August 11 & 12 along the city's lakefront. The company will also continue to be the official hotel and catering partner for this summer's event, offering overnight packages at its three Milwaukee hotels. Presenting sponsors at this year's Milwaukee Air & Water Show are Potawatomi Bingo & Casino, the Green Bay Packers and Precision Metrology.

The Milwaukee Air & Water Show to Feature Exciting Lineup of Aviation Performers

The Milwaukee Air & Water Show will take place along Lake Michigan between Bradford Beach and McKinley Park Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The air show practice will take place on Friday, August 10, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. This year's air show boasts a lineup of top aviation performers. Headliner performers include:

• The Black Diamonds, America's premier civilian jet squadron
• U.S. Navy Leapfrogs Parachute Demonstration Team "Navy Seals"
• U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor Aerial Demonstration Team
• U.S. Marine MV-22 Osprey Tilt Rotor Demonstration Team
• U.S. Navy F/A-18 Hornet Demonstration Team

A vast array of military aircraft will be flown, including the 440th Airlift Wing C-130 Hercules, a U.S. Navy E-2C Hawkeye, U.S. Air Force T-38 Talon Four Ship, a U.S. Coast Guard HU-25 Falcon Jet and other exciting acts including the Lima Lima Aerobatic Flight Demonstration Team, Matt Chapman, Bill Stein, Mike Goulian, Firebirds X-Treme, Rob Holland and Mike Wiskus.

The 2012 Milwaukee Air & Water Show takes place during an exciting week of events in Milwaukee honoring veterans and military service men and women. These military events include the Navy's Commemoration of the Bicentennial of the War of 1812 and "Navy Week," giving residents the opportunity to experience U.S. Navy, U.S. Coast Guard and Canadian Navy ships first-hand, in addition to naval receptions, military band concerts and other outreach activities.

Also taking place on the evening of Saturday, August 11 is a once-in-a-generation event saluting WWII veterans and their families hosted by Milwaukee's Stars and Stripes Honor Flight organization. The event, "Field of Honor," will take place at Miller Park Stadium from 3 p.m. - 9 p.m., and will feature a full length documentary of previous honor flights, the Pillars of Honor WWII Memorial and fireworks. The U.S. Navy Leap Frogs "Navy Seals" will jump into Miller Park Stadium at the event and the Lima Lima Flight Demonstration Team will fly over the stadium in conjunction with the Milwaukee Air & Water Show.

Field of Honor attendees can bring their Saturday ticket stub to the Air & Water Show reserved ticket booth located on Lincoln Memorial Drive on Sunday to receive a buy-one-get-one free reserved ticket for the Air & Water Show that day.
