The Doctors national TV show features Hanger Clinic patient running seven marathons on seven continents

Los Angeles, Calif., Dec. 9, 2016 – Hanger Clinic orthotic patient Cheryl Hile appeared on The Doctors national TV show yesterday to talk about living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and her goal to run seven marathons on seven continents in one year. With two races down, Cheryl is getting ready to run her third "7 on 7 in 12" marathon in Honolulu on December 11.

To combat a symptom of MS called foot drop, Hile wears a carbon fiber ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) that allows her to continue running. For nearly a decade, her AFOs have been custom-designed and fit by her Encinitas, California-based Hanger Clinic Orthotist Ara Mirzaian.
