|CBS's The Doctors to feature Hanger Clinic patient and clinical team|
Los Angeles, Calif., February 22, 2013 – On Monday, February 25, 2013 the syndicated television program The Doctors will feature 20-year-old Hanger Clinic patient and Hickory Grove, South Carolina resident Joey Funderburk. The program followed Funderburk during the process of receiving much-needed new, microprocessor-controlled prosthetic legs from a team at Hanger Clinic. The team included Hanger Clinic Vice President of Prosthetics Kevin Carroll, MS, CP, FAAOP, Charlotte, North Carolina-based prosthetists Mark Elgart, CPO and Mike Jenks, CPO, and technicians Steve Royster and Greg Parker.
