NBC's Today Show features Hanger Clinic's work with amputee dog

New York, New York, December 11, 2012 – This morning, NBC’s Today Show featured the story of an amputee dog named Pirelli, and the prosthetic care he is receiving from Hanger Clinic in Atlanta, Georgia.

An executive assistant at Hanger’s corporate office saw a news story about Pirelli online, contacted Hanger’s Clinical Operations team in Minneapolis, who then contacted Pirelli’s owners to let them know Hanger has a clinic nearby with a staff who would be thrilled to help. A clinical team from Hanger in Georgia including Steve Miller, Billy Fletcher, Dan Elseroad, and Ron Wilkinson have since been working with Pirelli to fit him with a prosthetic foot that will allow him to run again.
