|Scripps to Report Fourth Quarter Results; Webcast of Conference Call Available|

Scripps Company (NYSE: SSP) will report fourth quarter 2005 operating results before trading on the New York Stock Exchange begins Thursday, Feb. 2. A telephone conference call with members of the company's senior management team will follow at 10 a.m. EST.
