| HGTV's 'Gardenstakes Giveaway' Winner Hails From The Colony, Texas |
| KNOXVILLE, Tenn., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- The Grand Prize winner of HOME & GARDEN TELEVISION'S (HGTV) GARDENSTAKES GIVEAWAY is Dan Denman of The Colony, Texas, an AT&T cable subscriber.
Mr. Denman will receive the HGTV Gardenstakes Grand Prize package worth over $25,000 in cash and prizes, including a trip for two to Maui, Hawaii at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. The Ritz-Carlton is a top-rated resort that offers scenic vistas, miles of unspoiled coastline and loads of inspirational gardening ideas. The Grand Prize package also includes: $15,000 in cash toward a lawn makeover, a home visit and tips from a professional landscaping consultant, and an Ethan Allen patio table and chairs in which to relax while enjoying the attractive new garden scenery. The HGTV Gardenstakes Giveaway sweepstakes, which ran from June 1 - June 30, 2000, was co-sponsored by Ethan Allen, Trex Deck, Fancy Feast, Tylenol Allergy Sinus and TERMINIX. Mr. Denman was selected from over 293,000 entries received from across the country. The sweepstakes was promoted in HGTV Ideas magazine, E.W.
