LANCASTER, Pa., 11-06-08 – Armstrong World Industries, Inc. has named Beth Riley vice president, Corporate Communication, with responsibility for internal and external corporate communication and diversity. She will fully assume these duties as soon as a replacement is hired for her current position as director of Investor Relations. 

Riley joined Armstrong in 2005.  As director of Investor Relations, Riley has been the principal conduit between Armstrong and the investment community. Prior to Armstrong, she was director of Investor Relations for Kennametal Inc., a $2.5 billion global manufacturer of cutting tools and wear parts.

Riley earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics from Brown University and her MBA in Finance and Marketing from Carnegie Mellon University.
