LANCASTER, Pa., March 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Armstrong World
Industries, Inc. (NYSE: AWI) announced today that William C. Rodruan, 54, will
serve as interim chief financial officer starting April 1 when F. Nicholas
Grasberger, 45, assumes his new role as executive vice president and chief
executive officer of Armstrong Building Products. Grasberger replaces Stephen
J. Senkowski who is retiring. A search is underway for Grasberger's successor.
With a strong business and financial background, Rodruan has served
Armstrong for 33 years in leadership positions throughout the company most
recently as vice president, Finance of Armstrong Flooring Products Americas.
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Michael D. Lockhart said, "Bill's
breadth of experience with Armstrong will serve us well during this important
transition. He played a critical role as vice president, controller and chief
accounting officer during our Chapter 11 process."
Rodruan earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from
Shippensburg University.
