|Ingram Micro Canada Earns Aruba Authorization|
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – May 15, 2017 – Ingram Micro Canada today announced it has expanded its Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) relationship to include Aruba, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company.
Ingram Micro, Aruba and HPE are further enabling Canadian channel partners to advance their service capabilities by marketing, selling and supporting Aruba and HPE’s top-rated networking, security and wireless solutions. Under the new Canadian agreement, Ingram Micro will become an authorized distributor and will incorporate Aruba technology into its IoT strategy and offerings.
“Aruba and HPE offer innovative, real-world solutions that scale from SMB to enterprise and address emerging technologies and trends around IoT and security,” said Bill Brandel, vice president and country chief executive, Ingram Micro Canada. “We are excited to extend our relationship with HPE and welcome Aruba to our growing Advanced Solutions portfolio. Without doubt, the opportunities around IoT and security are too big to ignore, especially for those channel partners focused on education, enablement and business execution. The addition of Aruba is a testimony to the continued success of Ingram Micro’s HPE business and leadership around security and the internet of things.”
In 2016, Ingram Micro Canada’s Advanced Solutions organization experienced tremendous growth and celebrated a number of wins around its bundled IoT offerings. In Q1 of 2017, the team welcomed several new vendors to its portfolio. With the addition of Aruba, Ingram Micro Canada is now providing channel partners the ability to leverage technology convergence by moving beyond core network and security, and into IoT.
