|Ingram Micro Becomes a Strategic Distribution Partner of Dell EMC in Germany|
Partnership confirmed and expanded
MUNICH, Germany – March 16, 2017 – Ingram Micro Inc. today announced that it has been selected as a strategic global distribution partner by Dell EMC. Through this expanded relationship, Ingram Micro Distribution GmbH will be distributing the entire portfolio of Dell EMC,including advanced cloud IT infrastructure, converged systems, PCs and server/storage solutions to its reseller partners across Germany.
‘In the summer of 2014, we laid the foundation for our strategic partnership in Germany by launching Dell Business. The expansion of our contract to cover the full Dell EMC portfolio confirms the success of our cooperation and holds significant potential for Ingram Micro and our reseller partners,’ said Klaus Donath, Executive Director Value, Ingram Micro. ‘Our team possesses excellent expertise and is well-positioned to provide the best possible support to resellers in the Dell EMC business.’

According to IDCs Q4 2016 results Dell EMC holds the world wide No. 1 position in X86 server units and is number two in Germany. In Storage, Dell EMC Germany has also shown continuous quarter on quarter growth across all areas, from entry, mid and high-end to all flash and hybrid flash, and is the leading in total external storage.
