Director of Sales for Ingram Micro North America's Services Division Named to Second Annual List of Behind-the-Scenes Influencers in the IT Channel
SANTA ANA, CA, Jun 25, 2012 (MARKETWIRE via COMTEX) --Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced Jason Bystrak,
director of sales, Ingram Micro Services Division, North America, has
been recognized by UBM Channel as one of CRN's 2012 "100 People You
Don't Know, But Should." The annual list recognizes individual
professionals within a vendor organization who are responsible for
driving the behind-the-scenes efforts in channel marketing,
operations and sales.
CRN's "100 People You Don't Know, But Should" executives are the
directors, vice presidents and officers who lead their channel
program without fanfare, exhibiting the strength, determination and
creativity required to support solution providers on a daily basis.
"Ingram Micro's relentless focus on enablement, partnership and
business execution goes unmatched in the technology channel and is
accelerated by our team's experience and ongoing commitment to our
partners' success," says Keith Bradley, president, Ingram Micro North
America. "For nearly 17 years, Jason has engaged with and supported
thousands of Ingram Micro channel partners throughout North America
as they mature their business models to embrace new technologies and
services, including cloud computing. We applaud Jason's commitment to
the channel, our partners and Ingram Micro, and congratulate him on
this well-deserved recognition."
Bystrak, who has served Ingram Micro since 1995 in a variety of sales
leadership roles, is responsible for driving strategy, partner
relationships and revenue for the Ingram Micro Services Division,
which includes the distributor's growing portfolio of cloud, managed,
professional and training services.
In his current role, Jason leads the sales efforts for Ingram Micro's
North America Services Division, which includes one of the
distributor's most strategic initiatives, Ingram Micro Cloud, as well
as Ingram Micro Professional Services, the Ingram Micro Services
Network (the IMSN) and the Ingram Micro Training Academy.
"I'm pleased to deliver our second annual list of '100 People You
Don't Know, But Should' by continuing to honor the unsung leaders in
the IT channel," said Kelley Damore, vice president, editorial
director, UBM Channel. "This list recognizes the behind-the-scenes
influencers within a vendor organization who are making a significant
impact on the company's channel program, and the channel as a whole,
by working in any capacity necessary to drive profit and success."
She adds, "While solution providers may already be aware of a
vendor's channel chief, many are still unaware of the individuals
behind the chiefs; the home office shot callers responsible for
delivering a successful channel program. Many of these individuals
lead the way without recognition, and yet they have made a
significant impact in driving the success of their channel program.
I'm pleased to bring attention to their contributions."
A sample of the list will be published in print and online at
www.CRN.com on June 25, 2012.
