Ingram Micro Expands Business Systems Portfolio With New HP rp3000 Point of Sale (POS) Solution

SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM) today announced it has expanded its business systems portfolio to include HP's new advanced point-of-sale (POS) solutions for the small to midsized retail market. Designed for operation by independent retail managers and associates, the new, affordably priced HP rp3000 POS solution will be made available to authorized HP partners through Ingram Micro's Data Capture/POS Division later this month.

The new HP rp3000 POS solution will be available to Ingram Micro HP authorized solution providers later this month at a starting list price of $699. The complete hardware POS solution also comes with a three-year standard limited warranty.
