FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich., Sept. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- EnStructure
Corporation has named Daniel P. Govin as President of Sub-Surface Construction
Company. Based in Comstock Park, MI, with satellite operations throughout
Michigan, the Company is a construction contractor primarily for natural gas
distribution systems of major utilities.
In making the announcement today, Steven B. Hicks, President and Chief
Operating Officer of EnStructure, said, "Dan brings nine years of experience
in the underground utility construction business, developing strategic
business alliances with major energy corporations. His expertise in
developing business strategy and project management will assist in capturing
increased business and maximize the profitability of our construction
As President, Mr. Govin reports directly to Mr. Hicks. He replaces James
A. Schmieder, who recently left the company.
Prior to joining Sub-Surface Construction in May as Director of Business
Development, Mr. Govin was vice president of operations for Arby Construction,
Quanta Service Company in Milwaukee from 2002 to 2003. He also served as vice
president of Exelon Infrastructure Services, Inc. and president of MDC, Inc.,
both out of Orlando, FL, from 1997 to 2002.
He holds a master's degree in Management and International Business, from
Roy E. Crummer Graduate School of Business, Rollins College, and bachelor's
degree in Urban Planning and Design from the University of Wisconsin.
