industry, announces the recent promotions of Mike Lukemire to executive vice
president and Dave Swihart to senior vice president.
Mike Lukemire, executive vice president of Global Technologies and
Operations, leads The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company's global functions of supply
chain, procurement, information technology, research and development,
portfolio management, quality, biotechnology and business improvement.
Since joining the Company in 1995 as operations director, Lukemire has led
the transformation of the organization's supply chain into a world class and
global organization. He implemented a new innovation model with Global
Research & Development that leverages Scotts global talents and capabilities.
Prior to Scotts Lukemire lead business and operations management assignments
at Nabisco, Kraft-General Foods and Kroger.
Dave Swihart, senior vice president, Global Supply Chain, oversees global
improvements and stakeholder value by developing and executing continuous
advancement of the ScottsMiracle-Gro Global Supply Chain.
Swihart began his career at Scotts in 1993, holding roles within Supply
Chain, including vice president of Logistics & Distribution and vice
president, Global Supply Chain. He brought to Scotts over 23 years of
experience in engineering, plant management, production planning and supply
