David Campbell Joins As New Vice President In Life Sciences Practice

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 21, 2012-- Charles River Associates (NASDAQ: CRAI), a worldwide leader in providing management, economic, and financial consulting services, today announced that Dr. David Campbell has joined the firm as a vice president in the Life Sciences Practice based in London. Dr. Campbell is an experienced consultant specializing in strategy issues confronting life sciences industries in Europe and emerging markets.

Dr. Campbell joins CRA from IMS Consulting Group where he was a senior principal. Prior to that role, he was a management consultant and managing partner with Catenion Strategies GmbH specializing in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and diagnostics industries. He began his career in research roles at various hospitals throughout the UK and then worked in industry at SmithKline Beechams Pharmaceuticals, UK and GlaxoSmithKline, UK.

Dr. Campbell has led numerous projects in the areas of market entry strategy, emerging markets, portfolio analysis, brand and commercial strategy, and pricing and market access through an extensive network of C-level clients across a broad range of global organizations. He has written and contributed to a number of publications on strategic issues in the life sciences industry.
