AGOURA HILLS, Calif., Sept 18, 2006 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX News Network/ -- THQ Inc. (Nasdsaq: THQI) today announced the release of Bratz(TM) Forever Diamondz(TM) for the PlayStation(R)2 computer entertainment system, Nintendo GameCube(TM), Game Boy(R) Advance and, for the first time, the Nintendo DS(TM). Based on the latest Bratz(TM) Forever Diamondz(TM) fashion doll line, as well as the new Bratz Passion 4 Fashion Diamondz DVD movie scheduled for release on September 26, the video game marks the second title under THQ's worldwide interactive agreement with MGA Entertainment, the manufacturers of the wildly popular Bratz(TM) fashion dolls.

"The Bratz interactive debut shipped nearly 1.4 million units and was the number one video game franchise for girls in 2005," said John Ardell, director of global brand management, THQ. "With the recent release of MGA's new BRATZ: Forever Diamondz fashion dolls and the upcoming DVD launch, we see even more momentum surrounding the Bratz universe, positioning the Bratz Forever Diamondz cross-platform game release for greater success."

"The Bratz Forever Diamondz video game serves to further enhance the value of our incredibly popular Bratz brand," said Isaac Larian, chief executive officer, MGA Entertainment. "THQ has a proven ability to create and deliver unique gameplay experiences for the growing market of young female gamers, who now make up more than 38 percent of all video game players, according to the Entertainment Software Association."

In Bratz Forever Diamondz, Yasmin(TM), Cloe(TM), Sasha(TM) and Jade(TM) are back for a brand new adventure that sends them across the country in a contest searching of the hottest young fashion designer. Players will experience unique adventures through each of the four playable characters, while exploring detailed open world environments to compete in the "America Rocks Fashion" TV show. Fans will discover brand new features including a figure skating mode and the ability to adopt a pet to train, dress, accessorize and showcase in competitions.
