Great Plains Energy Announces Schedule for Fourth Quarter and Year-End 2016 Earnings

KANSAS CITY, Mo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 2017-- Great Plains Energy (NYSE: GXP) announced today that it will release its 2016 fourth quarter and year-end earnings on Thursday, February 23, 2017, after the market close. Terry Bassham, chairman, president and chief executive officer, and Kevin Bryant, senior vice president – finance and strategy and chief financial officer, will discuss fourth quarter and year-end 2016 earnings and operating results during a conference call with financial analysts on Friday, February 24, at 9 a.m. ET. Supplemental financial information and the earnings presentation will be available after the February 23 market close and after 8:30 a.m. ET on February 24, respectively, on the Great Plains Energy website at www.greatplainsenergy.com.
