Washington D.C. joined forces with the National Park Service to clean up the
landscape that adorns the Martin Luther King Memorial and nearby Tidal Basin
located in the National Mall.

More than 30 Liberty employees
rolled up their sleeves to perform general landscape maintenance and clean up
work on the grounds of the Martin Luther King Memorial and Tidal Basin.
In addition, Liberty’s Washington
D.C. team expanded their Bill Rouse Day of Caring program throughout the month
of June, making it possible for tenants to show their commitment to service by
donating to the Shoebox Project, working in conjunction with the United Way. In
each Liberty building, collection boxes were made available for donations of small
toiletries for families, young adults and veterans who need help in the Metro
