CHARLOTTE, NC– March 5, 2012 – Liberty Property Trust today announced that it has executed a lease agreement with The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company at Liberty’s recently acquired Seven building, a 1.08 million square foot building located at Crosspoint Center Industrial Park in Charlotte. The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company has leased 32,000 square feet of warehouse and distribution space at 2701 Hutchison McDonald Road. It is anticipated that the company will move into its new location in April.

Barbara Jespersen of Cassidy Turley represented Goodyear and Terry Brennan of Trinity Partners represented Liberty in the transaction.

Liberty purchased the 1.08 million square foot industrial park centrally located on 78-acres in October of last year. Crosspoint Center offers immediate access to both I-77 and I-85 and larger tenants in the park include Sygma, MEDIC, Flexalloy, and Lansing Building Products.

The acquisition of the Crosspoint Center Industrial Park increased Liberty’s Carolinas portfolio to approximately six million square feet, with 1.8 million square feet in Charlotte.
