HOUSTON, TX – December 8, 2010 – Liberty Property Trust (NYSE: LRY) today announced that Steve Hawkins has joined the company as a senior property manager and will be responsible for overseeing Liberty’s property management division responsible for 4.2 million square feet in Houston.

“Steve’s extensive experience in industrial real estate and customer service, coupled with his reputation of leadership and high integrity, make him a great fit with our company’s mission and our growing team in Houston” said Joe Trinkle, vice president and city manager for Liberty’s Houston operations.

Most recently, Hawkins was a senior property manager at Cencor Realty, managing its four million square foot portfolio in Houston. Prior to Cencor Realty, Hawkins was a Director of Operations at Caldwell Companies, managing its Houston operations and 3.5 million square foot portfolio.

Hawkins received his Bachelors of Science from McNeese State University in Louisiana. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
