Illinois Office Donates A Day Of Service To Ronald McDonald House

Volunteer Program is Part of Liberty's "Bill Rouse Day of Caring"- A Day to Honor the Memory of Company Founder

ROSEMONT, IL - July 16, 2008 - Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY), which owns and manages more than 4.6 million square feet of industrial space in the Chicago metro area, dedicated Friday, July 11 to lending a hand to the community as part of Liberty's Bill Rouse Day of Caring.

The team of six commercial real estate professionals spent the day hosting activities, preparing meals for the patients and their families, painting a gazebo and providing planters and flowers for outdoor seating areas at the Ronald McDonald House Near Loyola.  

"We're building a tradition of community service which will grow each year as our regional activities continue to expand," said Don Schoenheider, vice president and city manager, Liberty Property Trust.  "In the best tradition of our late founder, Bill Rouse, we are committed to giving back to the Chicago community in tangible ways."

About Ronald McDonald House Near Loyola
The Ronald McDonald House near Loyola is a 16-bedroom haven for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses or injuries at Loyola and other hospitals in the Chicagoland area, particularly those in the western suburbs. The House is open to families with children who are hospitalized and also to those whose children are being treated as outpatients.

The House is built on the federally owned property of Edward Hines Jr. Veteran's Affairs Hospital, which is providing a long-term lease for the land, located adjacent to Loyola University Medical Center. The House is run by The Ronald McDonald House Near Loyola University Medical Center Inc., a non-profit Illinois corporation. The Board of Directors is made up of health care professionals, parents, Loyola University Medical Center and Hines Veterans' Affairs Hospital staff, McDonald's Owners of Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana; and other interested individuals

About Bill Rouse Day of Caring
When Liberty founder, Bill Rouse, passed away in 2003, the employees of Liberty sought a way to honor his memory and launched the Bill Rouse Day of Caring to be held on the Friday before his birthday each year.  The Bill Rouse Day of Caring is a national service program through which each Liberty office lends time and talents to a local cause. Liberty closes its 20 offices nationwide and in the United Kingdom, so that more than 485 people can work in their communities.
