JACKSONVILLE – March 5, 2013 - Liberty Property Trust today announced that it has received two TOBY Awards from the Jacksonville Chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Both awards recognize excellence in property management.
“Our property management team is dedicated to providing premier work environments in our Jacksonville portfolio, and this recognition by BOMA is a testament to their continued perseverance of excellence,” said Mike Heise, vice president and city manager at Liberty. The first award, presented to Liberty for its Center Point Business Park, was received for outstanding building of the year in the industrial park category. Liberty received its second TOBY award in the office category for buildings between 100,000 – 249,999 square feet, for Liberty Center located at 7077 Bonneval Road.
The local BOMA chapter sponsors the annual award and criteria include all facets of a building's operations, including tenant relations, community involvement, emergency evacuation processes, continuing education for building personnel and overall exceptional service.
Both Liberty’s Center Point Business Park and Liberty Center are eligible to compete in BOMA’s regional competition. This is the second consecutive year the company has received the outstanding building of the year award for its Center Point Business Park.
