Liberty Property Hosts Economic Development Summit

Forum to Discuss the Current Trends in South Florida Economic Development

MIRAMAR, FL – July 30, 2010 - Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY) yesterday hosted NAIOP (National Association of Industrial and Office Properties), media and invited guests at its Economic Development Summit. An open forum was held yesterday at Liberty’s Sunset Plaza building in Sunrise, to discuss current and future economic development in South Florida.

“Bringing together NAIOP and experts from various arenas to discuss current trends in economic development in South Florida, we believe, is essential in this economic climate,” said Andy Petry, vice president leasing and development.

Guests were provided lunch and opening remarks were made by Andy Petry. Eric Swanson of Flagler Development served as the moderator and the panelists included Frank Nero of The Beacon Council, and Kelly Smallridge of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.

Topics of discussion included current business activity and expansion; general business climate; the State’s involvement in attracting new business to South Florida; and the controversial Amendment Four which is currently in legislation. The summit closed with a question and answer period.
