lIBERTY PROPERTY TRUST RENEWS WITH A.O. SMITH AND OTTAWA UNIVERSITY

MILWAUKEE – April 12, 2010 - Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY) has renewed leases with two tenants in its Wisconsin portfolio.

A.O. Smith Corporation has renewed its lease of 49,870 square feet of research and development space at Park Place II (12100 W. Park Place) in Milwaukee. The company has been a tenant for more than 10 years.

Ottawa University has renewed its lease of 14,515 square feet of Class A office space at the LEED Silver certified 245 S. Executive Drive Building (Brookfield) and expanded the agreement to include an additional 3,500 square feet. The university has leased space in the building for several years. 

Liberty Property Trust owns and manages more than 2.2 million square feet of office and industrial space in Wisconsin, including Liberty Park and Park Place, both in Milwaukee, Crossroads Corporate Center in Waukesha and Liberty Pointe Park in West Allis.
