Liberty Receives 2 TOBY Awards From Jacksonville BOMA Chapter

JACKSONVILLE – March 18, 2009 - Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY), the real estate investment trust that owns and manages nearly 2.5 million square feet of office and industrial properties in Jacksonville, today announced that it has received two TOBY Awards from the Jacksonville Chapter of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Both awards recognize excellence in property management.

“Receiving the TOBY award for both a ‘Class A’ building and an entire park is an exceptional honor,” said Greg Letnaunchyn, senior property manager, Liberty Property Trust. “Our focus has been, and remains on, providing extraordinary work environments for our tenants. The first award, presented to Liberty for its Butler Plaza II building located at 4887 Belfort Road, was received in the office category for buildings under 100,000 square feet. Liberty received its second TOBY award for its Center Point Business Park for the industrial office park category.

The local BOMA chapter sponsors the annual award and criteria include all facets of a building's operations, including tenant relations, community involvement, emergency evacuation processes, continuing education for building personnel and overall exceptional service.

Both Liberty’s Butler Plaza II building and its Center Point Business Park are eligible to compete in BOMA’s regional competition.
