Boca Office Moves To New LEED Building

Company Relocates Region Headquarters to its New LEED Registered Building

BOCA RATON - August 27, 2008 - Liberty Property Trust (NYSE:LRY), the real estate investment trust that owns and manages nearly two million square feet of office and industrial properties in South Florida, has moved its local headquarters to its newly constructed Boca Colonnade II office building located at 750 Park of Commerce Boulevard in Boca Raton.
Liberty completed the 100,000 square foot Class A sustainable building last month.  

"Boca Colonnade II is our first sustainable development in Boca Raton so it is fitting that we move our region headquarters to the new building and reaffirm our company's message of supporting sustainable design and development," said Andy Petry, vice president of leasing and development. "Liberty has developed seven sustainable buildings in the state if Florida to date and we plan to continue our environmental advocacy in the years to come."

Liberty moved into its new office, located in the Arvida Park of Commerce (APOC), earlier this month. Located near I-95 and Yamato, the Boca Colonnade II building features  a dramatic lobby entrance with stone and marble floors, a nine to ten foot ceiling height, 25,000 square foot floor plates, air cooled chiller/VAV system, advanced fiber optic telecommunications, a 24-hour security gate and guard service.
The company is pursuing LEED Gold certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. The building design incorporates state-of-the-art technology to offer exceptional air quality and abundant natural lighting while limiting resource consumption and lowering operating costs.

Liberty's 2 million square foot portfolio in Boca Raton, Miramar and Ft. Lauderdale consists of 13 office buildings, which total more than 1.2 million square feet.  Liberty's premier office product consists of Sawgrass Commerce Center (totaling 106,910 square feet), Lakeshore Plaza (totaling 140,160 square feet), Boca Colonnade I & II (totaling 250,679 square feet), Hunting Square I, II & III (totaling 394,110 square feet), Liberty Center at Monarch Lakes I (totaling 105,000 square feet) and Broward Trade Center (totaling 99,271 square feet).
