Columbia, MD – June 20, 2017 – Liberty Property Trust today announced that they have completed the shell construction of 1200 Claybrick Road and secured the first tenant which has leased 129,600 square feet of the 216,000 square foot distribution facility located at the Washington Gateway Logistics Center in Landover, MD. The building is on track for LEED Silver Certification and its newest tenant is slated to begin occupying the new warehouse space this month.

"1200 Claybrick Road is a state-of-the-art industrial facility in a market where supply of such properties in Washington D.C and Northern Virginia is quickly diminishing, and user appetite for Class A space to service an expanding metropolitan population base is strong."
Liberty's new building, which broke ground in August 2016, features a 200' depth, 36' clear height, 50' x 54' column spacing, 60' speed bay, up to 58 dock doors and an ESFR fire suppression system. It is situated in a central location, less than two miles from Washington, DC with immediate access to Rt. 50, I-295, I-495/I-95 and proximate to the Cheverly and Deanwood Metro Stations. Approximately 86,400 square feet of space remains available for lease.
