Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc. Names Karen Schuchardt Senior Vice President, Digital Media Sales

Accomplished New Hire Brings Vast Range of Experience from Viacom, Google and Yahoo!

NEW YORK, February 27, 2012—Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Inc (MSLO) today announced that Karen Schuchardt has been named Senior Vice President of Digital Media Sales. An accomplished digital ad sales chief who has held leadership roles at premier media companies such as Viacom Media Networks, Google and Yahoo!, Ms. Schuchardt, will drive digital ad sales and develop integrated programs for MSLO’s magazine brands, including Martha Stewart Living, Everyday Food, Whole Living and Martha Stewart Weddings.

Ms. Schuchardt comes to MSLO from Viacom; most recently she was Vice President Convergent Ad Sales, delivering multiplatform solutions across the company’s networks from MTV to Spike to Comedy Central. Prior to Viacom, she was an account executive at Google and Yahoo! Inc. Ms. Schuchardt launched her career as a marketing, sales and service representative at the Ford Motor Company.
