Bluelines, Daily Blog Launches with Third Issue on Newsstands Today

NEW YORK, March 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- With its third issue, Blueprint: Design Your Life, the newest lifestyle magazine from the creators of Martha Stewart Living, is introducing Bluelines, a daily blog today. In our need-to-know-it-now age, this blog is an immediate and essential extension of the new, bimonthly periodical, Blueprint. Bluelines features fun finds, favorite sources, inspiring ideas, and clever shortcuts for women ages 25-39 who are interested in creating and refining their own personal style. The Blueprint blog is part of the launch of the blueprintmag.com website, which links to marthastewart.com.

Since its launch last year, Blueprint has made a splash. Circulation is up 40 percent to 350,000 from last year's two test launch issues and is expected to jump again to 400,000 in the second half of 2007. Six issues are planned for 2007. The Society of Publication Designers recently honored Blueprint with four nominations in three different categories in the group's 42nd Annual Magazine Design Competition; the winners will be announced in May. Media Industry Newsletter named the magazine one of the hottest launches of the year in 2006.

The magazine also appeals to advertisers who are eager to reach this desirable demographic and the third issue reflects that, showcasing a wide range of advertising categories, including home, fashion, entertaining, beauty, and food and beverage.
