The Martha Stewart Show
NEW YORK, Oct. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- Della Williams from Mesa, AZ has been

Martha Stewart Show distributed by NBC Universal Domestic Television
Distribution. On today's edition of the "how-to" series, Ms. Stewart declared
Della Williams the winner of Martha's Ultimate KB Home Giveaway. The online
interactive watch-and-win sweepstakes, which launched September 12, was a
whopping success with nearly 24 million entries logged through the October 6
deadline.

During the month-long event, viewers were asked to tune in to the daytime
show to obtain Martha's daily clue, which was needed to find the KB Home Key
hidden in a photo-realistic room located on marthastewart.com and on the
show's affiliate websites.
Della Williams will get to choose her personal dream home, valued at up to
$400,000, from one of two Martha Stewart KB Home communities in Cary, North
Carolina (outside of Raleigh) and Fairburn, Georgia (outside of Atlanta).
These communities are the fruit of a collaboration between Martha Stewart
Living Omnimedia and KB Home to develop neighborhoods with houses inspired by
Martha Stewart's own homes in New York, Connecticut and Maine; Martha worked
closely with architects and builders on the various models and designs.
Special show correspondent, Queer Eye's Carson Kressley, was on hand with
the three finalists at the KB Home Hampton Oaks: Created with Martha Stewart
community in Fairburn to officiate a series of challenges that determined
which of the randomly chosen finalists would win the house. In the first round
of challenges, the three contestants faced off in a banana peeling contest.
The remaining two contestants moved on to the final challenge where they were
given the same exact groceries which needed to be unpacked in the fastest
time.
Kristen Imboden from Olathe, KS was first to be eliminated but as second
runner-up, she took home a Toshiba 47 Inch High-Definition Flat Panel
Television valued at $4,000. Linda Saenz from Orange, CA lost out on the house
but won a seven night cruise aboard Royal Caribbean's new luxury liner
'Liberty of the Seas' courtesy of Expedia.
In addition to the home giveaway, The Martha Stewart Show also awarded
three viewers over the past month with a brand new 2007 Chevrolet Suburban
valued at $51,000. Viewers were randomly selected to participate in special
challenges for a chance to win one of the cars.
"The sweepstakes was an overwhelming success," notes Ms. Stewart. "Our
viewers responded with tremendous enthusiasm and I know that our winner will
be very happy in their new home." She adds, "I also want to thank our partners
at KB Home and Chevrolet for their support of this sweepstakes and for helping
to make our second season launch such a memorable one."
Bruce Karatz, CEO and Chairman of KB Home comments, "What a thrill it was
to give viewers from all over the country the chance to see these magnificent
homes and possibly win a home created by KB Home and Martha Stewart. The
winner and her family will create lifetime memories in a home that embodies
quality craftsmanship and classic details."
An overwhelmed grand prizewinner Della Williams said, "I'm so excited, I
just can't believe it."
