Bob Moran joined PetSmart in July 1999, as president of North American stores. In December 2001, he was appointed president and chief operating officer, and in June 2009, he was named president and chief executive officer. In January 2012, he was appointed chairman of the board and retained his title of chief executive officer. Moran came to PetSmart from Toys“R”Us, Canada, where he was president. Prior to that, he spent 20 years with Sears, Roebuck and Company, in a variety of financial and merchandising positions including president and chief executive officer of Sears de Mexico. He was also chief financial officer and executive vice president of Galerias Preciados of Madrid, Spain from 1991 through 1993. Bob is a pet parent to Sophie, a Border Collie, and Bruno, a Rottweiler mix.

David Lenhardt joined PetSmart in October 2000, as senior vice president of Services, Strategic Planning and Business Development. He was appointed senior vice president, Store Operations and Services in February 2007, and, in February 2009, became the senior vice president, Store Operations and Human Resources. In January 2011, he became executive vice president, assuming additional responsibility for Information Systems. He was appointed president and chief operating officer in January 2012. From 1996 to 2000, he was with Bain & Company, Inc., where he led consulting teams for retail, technology and e-commerce clients. Prior to that, Lenhardt was an analyst in the corporate finance and Latin American groups of Merrill Lynch & Co.'s investment banking division. He is a pet parent to a Goldendoodle named Hanalei. Chip Molloy joined PetSmart in October 2007, as senior vice president and chief financial officer. In January 2012, he was named executive vice president. Prior to joining PetSmart, Molloy held various finance leadership roles with Circuit City including the chief financial officer of Retail Stores and vice president of Financial Planning and Analysis. His other experiences include corporate planning at Capital One Financial, private equity with AGL Capital Investments, and consulting with Deloitte Consulting. Prior to entering the private sector, Molloy served in the U.S. Navy as a fighter pilot, subsequently retiring as a Commander from the Naval Reserve. Joe O'Leary joined PetSmart as senior vice president of Supply Chain in September 2006. He was appointed senior vice president of Merchandising and Supply Chain in October 2008. In January 2011, he was promoted to executive vice president of Merchandising, Marketing, Supply Chain and Strategic Planning. Prior to joining PetSmart, O'Leary served as chief operating officer for Interactive Health, a company that makes robotic massage chairs. He also served six years with Gap, Inc., where he started as the vice president of International Logistics before being promoted to senior vice president of Global Logistics and ultimately, senior vice president of Supply Chain Strategy and Global Logistics. Prior to that, he held positions at Mothercare and Bhs (UK), Coopers & Lybrand and BP International. Joe is a pet parent to Suzie, a Bichon Frise, and Ellie and Mia, two Maltese dogs.

Beaver previously held the position of senior vice president and chief information officer for H-E-B Grocery Company from 1999 to 2005. Prior to that, he served 14 years at Allied Signal Aerospace, Inc. Beaver started his career at Eastman Kodak. He is a pet parent to two cats, Carly and Chloe.

Before Sara Lee, Paulette spent more than 14 years at the Tribune Company which owns The Chicago Tribune and The Los Angeles Times. She is a pet parent to a rescued Poodle/Wheaten Terrier mix named Teddy.

Erick Goldberg joined PetSmart in 2001 as manager of services recruiting. In 2004 he was appointed director of talent acquisition and associate relations, and in 2009, he became vice president of field Human Resources. Erick was appointed vice president of Human Resources for the store support group and distribution centers in 2012. And in February 2013, he became senior vice president of Human Resources. Prior to joining PetSmart, he was with Distribution Architects International for eight years in various leadership roles including director of Human Resources. He also previously held Human Resources leadership positions at Management Technology America and Triad Systems Corporation. He is a pet parent to a Bichon Frise named Alyash, whom he affectionately calls “Big Al.”

Matt McAdam joined PetSmart in 2008, as the vice president of Hardgoods Merchandising. In January 2012, he was appointed senior vice president, Merchandising. He has more than two decades of experience in Merchandising, working with retailers including Kohl’s and May Department stores. Prior to joining PetSmart, Matt was vice president of Planning and Allocation for Kohl’s, and before that, he was vice president of Merchandising for the Home Division of Bon Ton Department Stores. He is the pet parent of a Cockapoo, Sparky, and two guinea pigs, Sora and Butterball.
