Financial news release| Ameren to Hold Conference Call on 3rd Quarter 2008 Earnings | | ST. LOUIS, Oct 24, 2008 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Gary L. Rainwater, Chairman, President and CEO of Ameren Corp.
(NYSE:AEE), will join Warner L. Baxter, President and CEO of Ameren
Services and CFO of Ameren Corp., to discuss third-quarter 2008
financial results and other matters related to the company in a
conference call with financial analysts on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 10:00
a.m. Eastern Time (9:00 a.m. Central Time).
The call will be broadcast live over the Internet at www.ameren.com.
Supporting materials for the call will also be posted in the
Investors/Presentations area of Ameren's Web site. A replay of the
Webcast will be available for one year approximately one hour after the close of the call.
With assets of $21 billion, Ameren serves about 2.4 million electric
customers and almost one million natural gas customers in a 64,000
square mile area of Missouri and Illinois. Ameren owns a diverse mix of
electric generating plants strategically located in its Midwest market
with a generating capacity of more than 16,400 megawatts.
