Implant Sciences Receives Multiple Orders for QS-H150 Explosives Detectors

Important New and Repeat Business in China

Implant Sciences Corporation (OTCBB:IMSC), a high technology supplier of systems and sensors for homeland security markets, today announced that the company has received multiple orders totaling approximately $400,000 for its Quantum Sniffer™ QS-H150 Portable Explosives Detectors. The devices will be delivered to governmental customers of Implant Sciences’ distributors in China. The QS-H150’s are expected to be deployed for use in Law Enforcement and Aviation Security applications in multiple locations throughout China.

The QS-H150 provides high performance and reliability combined with ease-of-use and very low costs of ownership. Annual maintenance costs are minimal and consist primarily of normal care and cleaning using common supplies. Calibration is autonomous, continuous, and requires no consumables. Since there are no radioactive materials used in the QS-H150, there are no associated certifications, licenses, inspections, or end-of-life disposal issues. As such, customers have an outstanding, cost effective product available to them in support of efforts to improve their overall security profile and meet mission critical objectives.
