TESSCO Expands in the Western United States
One-Half Million Square Feet Dedicated to Sales, Configuration and Delivery of Wireless Products

HUNT VALLEY, Md., June 20 /PRNewswire/ -- TESSCO Technologies (Nasdaq: TESS) moved into its new Americas Logistics Center on June 2, 2003. With one-half million square feet for sales, service, and distribution operations under roof and in yard, the Center will be one of the largest independent facilities in the Western United States dedicated to the distribution of wireless products.

According to Robert B. Barnhill, Jr., chairman, president and chief executive officer of TESSCO, "Our new facility will enhance product availability, speed of delivery and service to companies in the western United States, Canada and Mexico that are responsible for designing, building, maintaining and using wireless systems. The Center will expand TESSCO's delivery, global flexible capacity and disaster recovery capability through careful integration with our Global Logistics Center in the East.

"TESSCO's expansion in Reno and the investment in the new center should reinforce to customers and manufacturers, our commitment to building market share in western North America by providing the best product plus supply chain solutions available. The center will augment our fundamental ability to deliver complete, on-time, and error-free configured solutions, and will serve as headquarters to an expanded western-focused sales and service team.

"We selected Reno for our Americas Logistics Center because of TESSCO's 17 years of experience with our past Reno-based regional centers. Reno is a prime location for western distribution, with strong transportation infrastructure support, and a short delivery radius to locations in the west. Reno/Tahoe's talent base is excellent for sales as well as distribution team members.

"The Americas Logistics Center is equipped with TESSCO's signature office environment, state-of-the art meeting and training facilities, climate- controlled internal distribution space as well as extensive external space for staging and delivering infrastructure equipment and products.

"We are proud and excited to have made this commitment. We are looking forward to working with current and potential customers and manufacturers as they take advantage of this tremendous `Total Source' opportunity."
