MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 14, 2008--Chris Saridakis, CEO
of the leading rich media company PointRoll, Inc., today was named
senior vice president and chief digital officer for Gannett Co., Inc.
(NYSE: GCI). He will be responsible for expanding and enriching the
company's global digital operations.

Saridakis will become a member of the Gannett Management Committee
(GMC) and report to Dubow.
Also, Jack Williams was named president of Gannett Digital
Ventures, which will oversee Gannett's portfolio of online classified
companies and other diversified businesses. Williams will continue
reporting to Dubow and will remain on the GMC.
"Jack's role will allow him to devote full time to strengthening
and growing our strategically critical classified partnerships and
other digital enterprises," Dubow said. "His understanding of the

Jason Tafler succeeds Saridakis as CEO of PointRoll. Tafler is
senior vice president, Global Business Operations & Strategy for
PointRoll, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of Gannett.
Saridakis was named CEO of PointRoll in 2005 after serving two
years as the company's chief operating officer. Prior to PointRoll,
Saridakis was senior vice president and general manager of the Global
TechSolutions division for DoubleClick Inc. - among the first people
in the technology business at DoubleClick. Saridakis also served as
director of new products and business development for enterprise
solutions at Reuters America, Inc., and was an assistant vice
president at Lehman Brothers Inc.
