MCLEAN, Va.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Mar. 24, 2015--
Gannett Co., Inc. (NYSE: GCI) today named William Janus president and
publisher of The Daily Times in Salisbury, MD. Janus comes to The Daily
Times after serving as general manager and advertising director of the
Courier-Post in Cherry Hill, NJ.
Janus has been with Gannett for nearly 20 years. He joined The News
Journal in Wilmington, DE, in 1989 as sales executive and served in
various roles before becoming advertising director. He then worked as
classified advertising director at The Baltimore Sun and eastern
division on-Demand publishing sales director at Comcast before returning
to Gannett as advertising director at the Courier-Post. He assumed the
general manager role in 2013.

be a great addition to the community.”
Janus is a graduate of Widener University in Chester, PA. He is married
with three children.
