Gannett Broadcasting wins five national Murrow Awards

MCLEAN, Va., Jun 15, 2011 (BUSINESS WIRE) --

Three Gannett Broadcasting TV stations won five 2011 Edward R. Murrow awards in the national competition sponsored by the Radio Television Digital News Association. The awards honor outstanding achievements in electronic journalism. WGRZ-TV in Buffalo, NY, won the overall excellence award in the small market category.
