PHOENIX, May 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Mesa Air Group (Nasdaq: MESA)
today announced the schedule and fares for service at its newest Essential Air
Service community, Vernal, Utah. The flights will be operated by Mesa's
wholly owned subsidiary Air Midwest and will be operated as America West
Express. The service will commence on July 2, 2006, pending Federal Aviation
Administration approval. Flights will operate from the Vernal Regional
Airport to Salt Lake City International Airport. Starting on July 2, Mesa
will serve 4 destinations in Utah: Cedar City, Moab, Vernal & Salt Lake City.

Tickets can be purchased through America West or your local travel
professional.
The schedule is timed to allow for maximum connectivity as well as the
ability to do a full day of business in Salt Lake City or Vernal. The
schedule beginning July 2 will be as follows:

period of July 2 through July 31, 2006. During this time, roundtrip tickets
will be available for only $99* to Salt Lake City. These tickets must be
