PURCHASE, N.Y., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- PepsiCo announced today
the appointment of communications executive Julie Hamp to its Senior
Leadership Team. Hamp, a 25-year veteran of General Motors, was named Senior
Vice President, PepsiCo Communications, reporting to Indra Nooyi, chairman and
chief executive officer.
Hamp brings extensive communications expertise to PepsiCo, most recently
serving as Vice President of Communications for General Motors Europe, based
in Zurich, Switzerland.
She also served as General Director of Communications for General Motors
Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East, General Director for GM North
America Car Group, Vice President, Communications for Saturn Corporation and
Director of Communications for both the Cadillac and Buick divisions.

Hamp will lead a worldwide communications team including PepsiCo
Corporate, PepsiCo International, PepsiCo America Beverages and PepsiCo
America Foods. She will be based in Purchase, New York.
