| Globecomm Awarded Various Contracts from US Government Agencies Valued at $8.8 Million |
HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Oct 12, 2010 (BUSINESS WIRE) -- Globecomm Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: GCOM), a leading global provider of satellite-based communications infrastructure solutions and services, today announced that the Company has been awarded various contracts from US Government Agencies valued at $8.8 million. Under the terms set forth in the contracts, Globecomm will provide terminal upgrades, multiple band frequency conversions, antennas, RF electronics, its Network Management Software (NMS) product, AxxSys(R) Orion, and associated engineering support services.
