Biography PhotoGary L. Rogers, age 70, was Vice Chairman of General Electric Company from 2001 until his retirement in December 2003. Previously, Mr. Rogers was Senior Vice President of General Electric Company and President and Chief Executive Officer of GE Plastics from 1992 to 2001. During the past five years, Mr. Rogers served on the board of directors of Rohm and Haas Company and Wyeth. Mr. Rogers, an independent director, was first appointed a director of Grainger in 2004 and is a member of the Board Affairs and Nominating Committee and the Compensation Committee.
