| DaVita Acquires Outpatient Kidney Dialysis Programs in Maryland and Georgia |
EL SEGUNDO, Calif., Dec. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- DaVita Inc. (NYSE: DVA) today announced that it has acquired three dialysis programs serving approximately 200 patients. The two Maryland programs are located in Largo and Laurel, and were effective December 1, 2003. The third program is a peritoneal program located in Roswell, Georgia, and was effective November 1, 2003. The existing nephrologists will continue to provide Medical Director services at the facilities.
