Spectrum Brands Announces Change in Annual Meeting Date

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2007--Spectrum Brands, Inc. (NYSE: SPC), a global consumer products company with a diverse portfolio of world-class brands, today announced that its annual meeting of shareholders has been changed from Wednesday, April 25, 2007 to Wednesday, May 9, 2007. The meeting will be held at Spectrum Brands' North American headquarters, located at 601 Rayovac Drive in Madison, Wisconsin, at 8:00 a.m. CT. The record date for determination of shareholders remains March 27, 2007.
