Spectrum Brands to Hold 2007 Annual Shareholders' Meeting

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 2, 2007--Spectrum Brands (NYSE:SPC) announced today that it will hold its annual shareholders' meeting on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. CT at the company's North American headquarters, located at 601 Rayovac Drive in Madison, Wisconsin. Shareholders of record as of March 27, 2007 will be entitled to vote at the meeting. A detailed description of matters to be discussed at the meeting will be included in a proxy statement to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and mailed to shareholders shortly after the record date.
