Spectrum Brands to Hold 2006 Annual Shareholders' Meeting

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 10, 2006--Spectrum Brands (NYSE: SPC) announced today that it will hold its annual shareholders' meeting on Wednesday, April 26, 2006 at 8:00 a.m. CT at its North American headquarters, located at 601 Rayovac Drive in Madison, Wisconsin. Shareholders of record as of March 15, 2006 will be entitled to vote at the meeting. A detailed description of matters to be discussed at the meeting will be included in a proxy statement to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and mailed to shareholders in March 2006.
