Rayovac Announces Annual Meeting of Shareholders

MADISON, Wis., May 28 /PRNewswire/ -- Rayovac Corporation (NYSE: ROV) announced today that it has scheduled its Annual Meeting of Shareholders for Thursday, July 22, 1999, at 9:00 a.m. CST at the Company's world headquarters, 601 Rayovac Drive, Madison, Wisconsin 53711.

Holders of record of the Company's Common Stock at the close of business on June 7, 1999, are entitled to vote on all matters presented at the 1999 Annual Meeting. At the meeting, shareholders will elect directors and vote on approving the Company's independent auditors.
