Rayovac Corporation Extends Expiration Date of Exchange Offer for 8 1/2% Senior Subordinated Notes

MADISON, Wis., Dec. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rayovac Corporation (NYSE: ROV) today announced that it has extended the expiration date of its offer to exchange $350,000,000 principal amount of its new 8 1/2% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2013, which have been registered under the Securities Act of 1933, as amended, for like amounts of its unregistered 8 1/2% Senior Subordinated Notes due 2013, which were issued on September 30, 2003. As a result of the extension, the exchange offer is now scheduled to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on December 18, 2003, unless further extended.

The exchange offer was originally set to expire at 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on December 17, 2003. As of 5:00 p.m., New York City time, on December 17, 2003, approximately $347,185,000 of the old notes had been tendered for exchange.

Except for the extension of the expiration date, all of the other terms of the exchange offer remain as set forth in the exchange offer prospectus.
