Spectrum Brands to Hold 2008 Annual Shareholders' Meeting

ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 2008--Spectrum Brands, Inc., (NYSE: SPC) announced today that it will hold its annual shareholders' meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. ET at the Westin Atlanta Perimeter North, located at 7 Concourse Parkway in Atlanta, GA. Shareholders of record as of March 15, 2008 will be entitled to vote at the meeting. A detailed description of matters to be discussed at the meeting will be included in a proxy statement to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission and mailed to shareholders shortly after the date hereof.
