|David M. Maura|
Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
David Maura, 45, was named Chief Executive Officer on April 26, 2018 in addition to continuing to serve as our Executive Chairman, a position he has held since January 20, 2016. Prior to such appointments, Mr. Maura served as Chairman of the Board of Directors since July 2011 and served as interim Chairman of the Board and as one of our directors since June 2010. Mr. Maura was a Managing Director and the Executive Vice President of Investments at HRG from October 2011 until November 2016, and was a member of HRG’s board of directors from May 2011 through December 2017.
Mr. Maura previously served as a Vice President and Director of Investments of Harbinger Capital from 2006 until 2012, where he was responsible for investments in consumer products, agriculture and retail sectors. Prior to joining Harbinger Capital in 2006, Mr. Maura was a Managing Director and Senior Research Analyst at First Albany Capital, where he focused on distressed debt and special situations, primarily in the consumer products and retail sectors. Prior to First Albany, Mr. Maura was a Director and Senior High Yield Research Analyst in Global High Yield Research at Merrill Lynch & Co. Mr. Maura was a Vice President and Senior Analyst in the High Yield Group at Wachovia Securities, where he covered various consumer product, service, and retail companies. Mr. Maura began his career at ZPR Investment Management as a Financial Analyst.
During the past five years, Mr. Maura has served on the board of directors of Ferrous Resources, Ltd., Russell Hobbs (formerly Salton, Inc.), Applica, Inc., and HRG. Mr. Maura received a B.S. in Business Administration from Stetson University and is a CFA charterholder. Mr. Maura’s broad experience in M&A, the consumer products and retail sector, finance and investments, and his relationship with HRG led the Board of Directors to conclude that he should be a member of the Board of Directors.

Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Doug Martin, 55, was elected Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Spectrum Brands in September 2014.
He joined Spectrum Brands from Newell Rubbermaid, where he had been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2012 as part of a 27-year career with the company. Prior to serving as CFO, Mr. Martin held a number of key financial leadership positions, including Deputy Chief Financial Officers, Vice President of Finance – Consumer Group, Vice President of Finance – Office Products Group, Vice President and Treasurer, and Vice President, Tax.
A Certified Public Accountant, Mr. Martin began his career with KPMG LLP where he worked for three years.
He received a Bachelor’s Degree in accounting from Rockford College.
|Nathan E. Fagre|
Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary
Nathan Fagre, 62, was appointed Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary in May 2012. He joined Spectrum Brands in January 2011 as Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary.
Mr. Fagre previously served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for ValueVision Media, Inc. from 2000-2011. Prior to that, he was Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for the exploration and production division of Occidental Petroleum Corporation, from 1995-2000. Before joining Occidental Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Fagre was in private law practice with Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP and Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, LLP.
Mr. Fagre is a Director of the National Security Forum at the William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul, MN, and served as Chairman of the Electronic Retailing Association from 2008-2009 after becoming a Director of the association in 2004. He also served as a Director from 2004-2007 of Ralph Lauren Media LLC, an e-commerce joint venture among Polo Ralph Lauren Corp., NBC Universal and ValueVision. Mr. Fagre also has served as a member of the Board of Directors of the Greater Madison Chamber of Commerce since 2012.
Mr. Fagre received a Bachelor’s degree from Harvard College, a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) degree in international relations from Oxford University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. He served as a law clerk for Judge Cecil Poole of the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals from 1982-1983.
|Stacey L. Neu|
Senior Vice President, Human Resources
Stacey Neu, 51, has served as Senior Vice President, Human Resources since January 2014. She previously was Vice President, Human Resources since April 2010. Ms. Neu served as Division Vice President, Human Resources for the Global Battery, Appliances and Home & Garden business in addition to Senior Director, Human Resources, for the Remington Personal Care business. Ms. Neu joined Spectrum Brands in October 2005 to oversee the Battery and Personal Care talent management function and lead the people integration program related to the acquisition of United Industries.
Prior to joining Spectrum Brands, Ms. Neu served in division human resources leadership roles for six years at Charter Communications, culminating in her role as Vice President, Corporate Human Resources from 2003-2006.
She received a Bachelor of Science degree in business from the University of Phoenix.
|Steven M. Fraundorfer|
President, Home & Personal Care Appliances
Steve Fraundorfer, 50, was appointed President of the Home & Personal Care Appliances Division of Spectrum Brands in November 2017. He previously was President and earlier Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Global Batteries & Appliances Division of Spectrum Brands established in November 2014. He has worked in multiple divisions and held a number of key manufacturing and operating positions during his 22-year career with Spectrum Brands. Mr. Fraundorfer was named Vice President and General Manager for the Global Appliances Division, consisting of the personal care and home appliances businesses, in September 2013.
During 2010-2012, Mr. Fraundorfer played a major leadership role in the integration of the former Russell Hobbs company, acquired in June 2010, to create the Home Appliances business. In 2007, Mr. Fraundorfer assumed increasingly expanding executive level positions for the Remington personal care business which later was combined into the Global Appliances Division. He spent nearly three years as Asia Managing Director in Shenzhen, China, focusing on optimization of the Company’s sourcing and new product development operations.
From 2005 to 2007 he led the North American supply chain integration for the United Industries acquisition. Mr. Fraundorfer designed and served as General Manager of Rayovac’s main packaging and distribution center in Dixon, Illinois from 2002-2005. He previously was Director of Program Management and Manufacturing from 1993-2002 and a Purchasing Manager from 1993-1998. He joined the Company, then known as Rayovac Corporation, in 1993 as a Manufacturing Engineer.
Mr. Fraundorfer also is President and Chief Executive Officer of Shaser Bioscience, Inc., which has been majority-owned by Spectrum Brands since November 2012
He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Home Appliances Manufacturers and the Center for International Business Education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Mr. Fraundorfer holds three degrees from the University of Wisconsin, Madison: a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering/statistics, an MBA in quantitative analysis and a Master of Science degree in finance, investment, banking.
|Randal D. Lewis|
President, Global Consumer Group
Randy Lewis, 51, was appointed President of the newly created Global Consumer Group, consisting of the Pet Supplies, Home & Garden and Global Auto Care businesses, on April 26, 2018. He previously served as President of the Pet, Home & Garden Division of Spectrum Brands since November 2014. Previously, he was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Home & Garden since January 2011, where he led the restructuring of the business. From 2005-2011, Mr. Lewis served as Home & Garden’s Vice President, Manufacturing and Vice President, Operations upon the acquisition of the business by Spectrum Brands. Prior to that, Mr. Lewis held various leadership roles from 1997-2005 with United Industries Corporation, ending as Vice President, Fertilizer & Growing Media Operations.
Prior to joining United Industries, Mr. Lewis worked from 1989-1997 for Unilever, PLC where he held various management positions of increasing responsibility in manufacturing within the U.S. Fabric Care Group.
Mr. Lewis earned a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in 1988.
|Philip S. Szuba|
President, Hardware & Home Improvement
Phil Szuba, 50, was appointed Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Hardware & Home Improvement (HHI) Division of Spectrum Brands in September 2015. Mr. Szuba previously served as Senior Vice President, Global Technology and Operations since January 2014. He joined HHI in May 2008 as Vice President, Engineering. During the merger of Stanley and Black & Decker, Mr. Szuba was the integration team leader for HHI and was responsible for the functional integration as well as the Stanley & National Hardware business integration into HHI.
Before joining HHI, Mr. Szuba was Director and General Manager of Avdel North America for Avdel Fastening Systems, a business unit of Acument Global Technologies, formerly Textron Fastening Systems. Prior to this, he worked for 12 years at Lamb Technicon, a systems integrator of metal cutting and welding equipment.
Mr. Szuba earned a Bachelor of Science degree and Master’s degree in mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. in systems engineering from Oakland University. He holds 12 U.S. and numerous foreign patents and is a registered professional engineer.
|Shayn E. Wallace|
President, Global Batteries & Lights
Shayn Wallace, 46, was appointed President of the Global Batteries & Lights Division of Spectrum Brands in November 2017.
He joined Spectrum Brands from Morton Salt, where he had been the Global Leader of Sales & Marketing since 2013. Prior to that, he was the Leader of Consumer Product Sales for the North American region. Before joining Morton, Mr. Wallace held sales and marketing leadership positions for Sara Lee Corporation, H.J. Heinz Co. and The Kellogg Company.
Mr. Wallace holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing and Finance from Boise State University.
